Download and install megacli tool:

List disks before adding physical disks:

$ /opt/MegaRAID/MegaCli/MegaCli64 -PDList -aAll | grep -e "Enclosure Device ID" -e Slot

Slot Number: 0
Enclosure Device ID: 252
Slot Number: 1

Insert physical disks.

List disks after adding physical disks:

$ /opt/MegaRAID/MegaCli/MegaCli64 -PDList -aAll | grep -e "Enclosure Device ID" -e Slot

252 = Enclosure Device ID
2 and 3 = Slot Number
-a0 = Adapter %D
